I only know that our President has said "It's not a priority."

It will be if Osama swallows the bait and comes out of hiding.

If your efforts continue to fail, its pretty natural to say that what your trying to do isn't much of a priority.

I dont think Bush should have led us into invading Iraq. I wish the Congress was smart enough not to let him do it. In retrospect they should have been smart enough to know how difficult stabilizing Iraq would be.

Knowing what the world would look like now without entering Iraq is hard to know. We could easily have Iran and Iraq in an nuclear arms race. How the hell did Pakistan get nukes?

I suspect the military had options to get OBL over the years but did not want to expend the lives or enter Pakistan.

Bush is not going to admit getting OBL is important to him. Just like the media thinks Bush goes to Saudia Arabia to get more oil. No doubt he has known for years SA has no more oil to pump. Do you think saying that would make oil cheaper or safer?

An idealist may think all humans are equal and want the same things, life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Clearly there are cultures where they are not evolved enough to appreciate what numerous white men from Europe did 230+ years ago. It took 200 years to move beyond some deficiencies with regards to equal rights for non whites and women. The people we hoped wanted the same things as us clearly are not ready for being liberated and living together as a nation.

Perhaps sometime in the future when the outcome of Iraqi's self determination is clearer we will wish we just kept empowering an evil dictator against Iran.
