I think we agree to some extent on that. Obama seems to be a present day incarnation of Adlai Stevenson or George McGovern, but Obama has quite a bit more personality than both those guys put together, so he will HAVE to show that in the debates. Obama also has a BIG IMPETUS behind him that those other 2 guys didn't have. People think that the economy is lousy, the War is lousy and the Country in general is headed in the wrong direction. If things continue to look lousy going into the election then I think a LOT of people might not like it but will vote for Obama anyway just to change things up.
