I just received a phone call from our very own bad movie director Mr Alan Smithee. He was on a big bike ride this weekend and got a flat rear tire on his motorcycle at about 60 mph. He was able to slow the bike but it jerked him off the road and he laid it down at perhaps 30 mph. On the plus side he had a helmet and full leather so all the safety gear was put to use. He did however suffer 5 broken ribs and a broken clavicle and is very, very sore as you can imagine. Just wanted to let everyone know as he said he really can't type as it's just to painful at this point so he may be absent for a bit.
