Individuals don't affect the price. The big insurers negotiate the prices. And THEY don't need ads in newspapers to know what everyone is charging. And the Federal Government dictates other prices.

i am not sure about over built hospitals. i do not recall any new hospitals in philadelphia area or suburbs.. do remember a few closings.

I would never consider price if having surgery. My priority is surgeon,, surgeon,, surgeon,, support team, then hospital.
