I went looking for "Radical Islam can end Western Civilization by"

and found:
opinionjournal.com

Which is basically about Islamic folks outbreeding us "Western" folks, and those clever Easterners waiting until we collapse on our own- from things like too much multiculturalism and too many social programs. I found the whole thing rather funny. I guess the solution to our demise is for all of us to have really big intolerant families who don't believe in state assistance. What a lovely world THAT will be :-)

Bob has the perfect opportunity to explain how Radical Islam could end us, but apparently his tack is going to be that it is so self-evident as to be beneath him to say.

I spent an extraordinary amount of energy on PfP doing just what you're doing. And its denizens likewise spent an extraordinary amount of energy ganging up and beating on me for my effort. We're talking years, here. During the course of this exercise, I never once was able to find anyone who could explain how radical Islam has the means or opportunity to be an existential threat, only the motive. Never once. Nor was I ever able to find anyone who was deterred in his belief that they were an existential threat by that fact that means and opportunity were not present. The basic reaction was that I just don't get it.

I would give a lot to find that special insight into this phenomenon so I wish you well, but don't get your hopes up...
