I don't think to possibility he ever would be ever crossed anyone's mind. But, that makes him no better or worse than many press secretaries, and that goes in spades to any in the Bush administration. Ms. Perino is probably the least artful dodger that has held that position in the current administration. But she still tries. Scott was one of the better ones. And he had the most challenges.
