As I mentioned a few weeks back when this topic was first broached here, I find myself in the rather uncomfortable position of defending that which I have little passion for, the matter of school prayer.

At the time, I said I rather admired a community that would defy the Federal gov't in favor of free speech.

I see you all saying much the same in defense of Obama.

It seems to be two sides of the same coin to me.

I have never heard of anyone trying to stop a child from praying on his or her own at school. I'm sure many students pray before tests :-) There may have been some zealot somewhere who tried to stop some kid from praying- just as there are many teachers (especially coaches) who violate the school prayer thing all the time by leading prayers, but I don't recall ever seeing a story about a child stopped from praying.
