The Democrats have done nothing over the past two years but blame Republicans. One of them even admitted to not trying to stop the war because they wanted to use it against the GOP this year.

There are people out there who give positive approval ratings for the Democrats in Congress, yet an overall negative rating on Congress in general."

Umm, this is a surprise?

"Partisan politics is alive and well ."

I suppose in a sense.

I think, though, what you are seeing is that the Republicans are shouldering the blame for the inaction of Congress. Given their record number of filibusters in the Senate, that isn't an irrational conclusion.

Ten is simply playing with his head. He refuses to see the anger that people have for anything Bush or Republican. He refuses to understand that the Bush and the party pimped the US, robbing it of billions in the process. He refuses to accept that the country is in much worse shape than it was in 2000 when Clinton turned it over to Bush.

Pacific Northwesterners are some of the nicest, politist people in the country....that's not anecdotal...study after study puts Seattle and Portland in the top 5 cities for polite drivers. Ten knows that....he lived here. And yet, you bring up Bush's name in Seattle, and people become apoplectic. That rage isn't reserved just for Bush.....its for all things Republicans. I had thought it was only a Pacific NW development until I saw the recent elections in MISS and LA. Two elections in the Republican heartland and the GOPer lost twice. Now that speaks volumes but still people like Ten refuse to listen.
