The solution to high gas prices is high gas prices. Yes, agreed. However, the mess we're in is that we're dependent on oil from our worst enemies. You shouldn't enjoy the fact that we're funding both sides on the war on terror either. Time to start fighting this war economically as well, by making the Middle East economically irrelevant and that means making darn sure that oil prices decrease to single digits and stay there permanently...and that means alternatives at global scale. Oh and if the gov't hadn't invented the Internet, then we'd have missed out on the boom in the 90's. The market doesn't take care of everything. It's a proven fact in Silicon Valley that incubation periods increase the probability of success for Small companies and small industries alike. The alt energy industry is no different.
