What I think you are missing is the political implications. People just aren't going to look beyond the soundbites. What I heard was a white priest impersonating a black preacher. He was talking about politics. He was mocking Hillary. He was disgusting. He was "alien". Impassioned? I really don't think so. Hillary isn't exactly anti-black. He was playing to the crowd at the expense of Obama. The reality is that someone can't indulge-- and that was what this was-- and expect some kind of free pass. Maybe these people don't care, but Obama HAS to.
