I heard from a very insightful fellow the other day that Iran may be planning a few things in Iraq for Sept. and Oct. to try and influence the election.

Sadr's Militias have seemed a bit "meek" lately as the Iraqi Army has trod all over their previously held ground. It could be that Iran is telling them to hold off until Sept. or so.

State budget realignments are coming up in the next 3 months, so I think the economy may REALLY be struggling in the 3rd Quarter. A hurricane or 2 and we may be seeing $6 bucks at the pump, so I don't think Iraq is going to be the "biggest" consideration for voters come November.

I'm pretty sure Obama doesn't want Clinton on the ticket, but if his internal numbers look bad in the industrial States and FL he may HAVE to run with Clinton because I don't think anybody else could offer the base of supporters that she offers.
