I raise ODS as something of a joke since BDS was supposed to be a unique, never-seen-before phenomenon in Washington that was grossly unfair. But Obama was become the target of heavy bashing before he was even nominated, with entire threads on SI devoted to trashing him and vicious E-mail campaigns slurring everything about him. Many of the people bashing him the most screamed the loudest about "BDS". So turning the tables is one of those delicious ironies I enjoy so much. With hyperpartisan people, bashing others is always fair and criticizing their hero is beyond the pale. One of the great hypocrisies in politics that never changes. That's why it's open season on all pols here. We just ask that facts and quotes be accurate.
