Why is CC a problem? In prior periods of warmer climate the earth prospered and did not end. I read yesterday about the time when England was a wine exporter in the early second millenium (Medevil Warm Period - Little Ice Age). And - how did such warmth occur with a huge population and massive burning of CO2? That kind of question needs to be asked and answered!

In other words, population increase is definitely an important part of the causal nexus, but, given the way we get our energy, so is CC.

Then why is reducing fossil fuel use the only target in the fight against GW? Are you aware of any other front where this problem is being attacked? I haven't. Gotten a little ahead of ourselves, methinks.
