Allen - I have said over and over and over and over that a balanced plan is what is needed. The Republicans have not been strong enough on conservation. The Democrats have not been supporters of production. It is a shared responsibility. As for protecting Detroit - who - the UAW or the companies. They are one in the same. You cannot screw the companies without screwing the UAW - a group Democrats claim to care about. BTW - Michigan is one of the states with the worst economic performance - you want that to be worse? Is that part of your train wreck solution? I do not think you can find anything different from me. This little exchange started with those who only think drilling is the answer.
