I try to buy grass-fed unless it is a sirloin roast for company.

Haven't had steak at a restaurant in a long time so can't comment about quality. I have noticed that prices are definitely down.

I much prefer grass-fed. No comparison, IMO. Grilled some ribeyes last weekend which were spectacular.

Funny thing, though, I pay more for the grass fed than the grain fed.

Grass fed top sirloin is fabulous for steak salad.

Just buy prime cuts from Costco. Of course, the meat costs --well--let's see how much-- a lot--

how about $16-$25 a pound?
