A key one is balancing out Obama's perceived liberalism........ Webb in a lot of ways is to the left Obama, particularly on economics. Did you see his op-ed in the WSJ? No. Do you have workable link......usually WSJ articles are not available to the general public? after all, this country still leans conservative.....see Ray's posts. On what issues does the country lean conservative? Gun control, strong military, abortions to name a few........this is a conservative country. Its taken me a while to accept that premise.
