PKK is not Tibetan ? fighting for self-rule

Report: Iran, Turkey coordinate Iraq strikes

news.yahoo.com

ANKARA, Turkey - A Turkish TV station is quoting a senior military commander as saying that Turkey and Iran have carried out coordinated strikes against Kurdish rebels in northern Iraq.

CNN-Turk television reports that Gen. Ilker Basbug has confirmed for the first time that the two countries share intelligence against the rebels.

He said the two countries plan to launch more coordinated operations against the rebel group in the future.

The Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, has been fighting for self-rule in southeastern Turkey since 1984 from bases in northern Iraq.

The Iranian army frequently shells villages in the mountains of northern Iraq, where it alleges that rebels from PEJAK, or the Party for Free Life in Kurdistan, are based.

With falling retail sales and falling manufacturing the ECB is fighting inflation - OOPS - WS loves it as there are more carry trades to skim some profits but the EU is marching to disintegration only because the Germanic inclined ECB.

Ireland, Portugal Spain Greece Bulgaria Romania Italy et-al are in, or close to recession but ECB does not count them as legitimate EU members <GG> - external factors bringing about the inflationary pressures - well the ECB can care less - some times it is amazing how mindless and polarized CB can be - oh yes they care about the small consumer not to get hurt by inflation in his buying power - but they do not care if the same consumer looses his job and his buying power is ZERO with an ECB combating inflation

Stupidity at it's best – so to all locals do not complain about the FED – across the Atlantic they are no better

Wonder why at all we need Central Banker it seems overall they make more damage than help - better give the money wasted on their institution to the poor to be able to buy food even with external generated inflation

GERMANY DATA: Industrial production fell in April to -0.8%.

GERMANY DATA: Industrial production fell unexpectedly in April to -0.8% on the month, marking the second deterioration in a row after March's downwardly revised dip (-0.8% from -0.5%), data released Friday by the Federal Economics Ministry show. April's decline left output 1.32% below the 1Q average, pointing to a loss of momentum after gains of 2.20% in 1Q and 0.65% in 4Q. The three-month moving average (February-April versus January-March) dropped to -0.50% from +0.25% in March. April's dip was due to declines in all major ategories, including a 0.7% drop in the key manufacturing sector. Construction output fell 2.9% after benefitting from the unseasonably mild weather conditions at the beginning of the year. Energy output dipped 1.7%, after five consecutive
negative readings and a rebound in March.
