I dont want to give bush credit for this but i think you are. If iraq was a recruitment vehicle for them it failed and if there are only 200 or so holed up in SWahiristan lets go get them.
What i get from what you say is iraq and afganistan are limited success based on the overriding objective of defeating al quaeda. I dont think you mean to say this so you need to explain better.
