Mas, you pretend to be a genius by ridiculing the results of the Pentium 4 architects. Like I said, I know Bob Colwell personally. He's a very intelligent guy and a highly successful engineer. Intel lost a very valuable contributor when Bob left the company, but Bob left a lasting legacy that goes well beyond Pentium 4. One of my favorite quotes from him is nicknamed "Colwell's Law": "If it isn't tested, it doesn't work!" And the corollary: "If we didn't have to test it, we could ship it tomorrow." Compared to his wisdom, your rants are insignificant, a one-bit correctable error in a stream of data. Tenchusatsu
