It takes on a larger context when advanced by folks who essentially make words mean what they want them to mean. Yep, but everyone in that group knows precisely what's being said. It's not a ranch; it's just a bit of high priced prestige. I agree with your point in a previous post that the fact Bush bought the property right before he ran for the presidency is the telling bit. I grew up less than thirty miles from Crawford. Bush looked at property around my hometown but didn't buy. No one had any illusions as to why he was looking for the property but they were happy to see him. Thought it might raise property prices.
