I see jawboning and coordinated intervention against inflation.

What will least be effected....not GOLD and its miners...though maybe they will be over sold come late June and the dates that VT mentions that they'll be seasonal low ball buys, but I'm thinking coal and natural gas...those are the natural resource plays that will have the best chance of pass through with gains this summer as the jawboning and efforts to manipulate intensify...

KOL - ETF for coal and my fav: wtn.to
UNG - ETF for NG price
eca, swn and xto possible picks for individual stocks in the NG space....

Gold and associated stocks will probably be the buys when the FED does raise interest rates, the stock market celebrates the end to inflation, momentarily, and then all heck breaks loose.

when the markets loose respect for the central banks...that's when gold will start its next rise....Right now they can levitate the dollar and as long as that goes on GOLD will be under pressure.

Some additional persepective:

It's really getting kind of scary don't you think?

I was out all winter in my RV. Went to the Pacific Coast as far down as San Luis Obispo. The RV parks were already becoming the spot for the upscale homeless. People are going out and buying trailers, which are dirt cheap for the space, having them taken directly to an RV park with no intention of ever hooking them up and going anywhere.
