Do you feel that the truth about Arab Muslims favoring Obama for president would be dangerous to his candidacy if it becomes widely known?

Sam, I expect the right-wing attack dogs will crank up just fine without the Friedman article, sad to say. They've already probed this with commentary on Hamas following and approving of Obama.

Part of Obama's attractiveness for me was always that I envisioned his being the right person, inc. his complexion, to heal the damage we've done to ourselves in the ME.

So I really liked Friedman's poignant article.

Time will tell, but my sense is that the right-wing Islamo-fascist fear-mongering tactics just don't resonate much anymore with the typical swing voter.

The core of the GOP will find one reason or another to stay with their party. Their patience and capacity for disappointment seems to be bottomless, lol.
