I'd be happy to teach you all that I know about Gann .. it should take all of about an hour or so. ;) I'm still in the process of learning. Most of the Gann Info has been archived at his foundation and its hard to come by. They charge a small fortune for everything but there are some sources available online. I'll look at it again a bit later tonite .. but .. If you just think back at all the difficulty the SPX had moving Up thru all of those Fibo Moving Averages I kept posting about. the 34, 50[55], 89, 144, 200[244]. Every one of those are Overhead as R Again Now. It gave up every bit of ground it gained .. and now we're in June. If it does go up prior to expiry it will have to deal with every one of those all over again as it looks to me the Shares are in distribution mode. Maria B put herself in check when she mentioned Trimtabs outflows today and switched topics quickly. It was just a quick Blip. The 89 is in the Batters Box .. with 50 on deck .. followed by 34 ... and big ole #144 batting Clean up. ;) If this were the Top of the Market I'd call it a H&S Top .. still looks like a Little H&S to me.. if so it'll build the right shoulder .. or it's one of those Rounding Saucer Top things .. and it'll just slip on lower. At least it Filled that Prior Gap today. The pitch is Wide and Outside. ;) stockcharts.com

It's not that difficult unless you make it that way. Price tracks a Line .. once it's broken it moves to the next line .. & hunts for a line to track. If it's tracking the 45* 1x1 .. it's in Trend. The areas where the lines cross produce Support on Horizontal. Like Fibonacci Support only it's not Fib numbers .. it's Harmonic .. in 1/2 .. 1/4 .. 1/8 .. 1/16 .. The Lines Crossing produce the Horizontal Line at the Intersection as well as the Vertical Line. The Square of Nine is a check on the correct placement of the intersections. Today Price is past the Vertical Intersection and the Horizontal Line is holding. Price is trying to Square with Time .. and it's at the point of trying to decide which line to track as ... Today ... Price is at the Mid Point of 2 Lines on the Horizontal Intersection. Which just happens to be some Strange Fibonacci Number as well .. so .. Here We Are !!! LOL Gann believed that Price will Square with Time .. or in other Terms. Price Will Return to the Mean. I made the 2 Lines Very RED on the 2nd chart ... and added the Price at which they will be tomorrow. 1346 as R and 1329 as S .. and Price is Sitting on the Horizontal line drawn thru the Intersection. 1329 S is the intersection of Nov 30th not shown here and later Sept 08.
