Kenneth is upset about Obama being brilliantly upstaged by McCain today on his off shore drilling proposal. He is getting a lot of coveraee on this and Obama is trying to figure out how he got himself into this predicament.

Rasmussen poll today shows that 67% of Americans approve of off shore drilling. Even liberals support it. Just reported on the news, I have not read the poll, but I am sure Kenneth will post it...(s)

This is another sign of Obama's lack of experience.

So Obama said the "overall strategy" failed but he did not say the surge failed. Those are two different statements. The surge has reduced the level of violence but the "overall strategy" has failed because there is still no political reconciliation. My point was correct. Obama did not say the surge failed.
