I think that the injection of nukes into the equation made folks so scared that they are deterred.

NKorea and its paltry nukes is simply not credible as a threat except to its own existence if Kim Jong Il should drink too much brandy and decide to play marbles with glowing rocks.

Iran is different, very different. Throw nukes into the boiling toxic mix created by religion and threatened global oil supplies and the broth gets to be a nasty witches' brew.

We'll see, I have fingers and toes crossed for Iran will sooner or later have a nuke and things will then change radically.
