Sooner or later someone would have figured out he could actually make more money by being smoke free and attracting a high percentage of people that hate smoke. Others would have noticed and we would have been off to the races.

I strongly believe that over time as the number of smokers continued shrinking, there would have been a huge market for smoke free restaurants, pool rooms, bars etc... without infringing on the rights of owners and smokers. To me maximizing freedom is critical. If it weren't, there is huge list of things I don't like that I would like to bar. Those that engage is those activities might not like my rules though.
