I can't figure out what is underneath McCain's rhetoric. If things go really well, do the troops come home, or do we stay forever to make sure we don't "lose" somehow? It doesn't add up in my calculator. My guess is they stay forever, or until the oil is gone .. whichever comes first .. We'll stand down from the urban areas and maintain a first response type force at the desert bases .. Ensuring an uninterrupted oil flow from the ME producers is our primary foreign policy goal ..
