I think our biggest disagreement would be "how to" type issues. I think we see the scope and depth of the problem differently. If you felt the urgency that I feel, and expected what I expect in the very near future, then I think you would be repulsed by the pure waste of huge SUVs. I sincerely believe that our way of life is threatened. Rich, poor, everyone. More serious than 9/11, more serious than WWII, maybe more serious and longer lasting than the Great Depression. Am I an alarmist? Maybe. Not worth the gamble. Looking at it from my perspective, pissing off a few SUV drivers is not at all significant.
