AFAIK, if the stock that they are short goes up , than they have to put up more dough, or cover.
I don't know the rules for sure, but I am pretty sure that some entity cannot just keep selling something endlessly without any repurcussions if they are wrong.
If that were the case all stocks would be selling at a nickel and heading down.

I give up. I don't care. There are a lot worse things going on in this world than naked short selling.
Like illegal wars,based on lies, torture prisons run by the very countries that preach freedom and constant lies and deception to the very public they claim to respect.
