So you're saying that its all about health insurance? That's what has caused American car companies to not be successful in the marketplace?

It's not all about health insurance, but it's a problem. If you have a major expense that none of your competitors has, in business, it's difficult to be successful.

That said it's hard to call the US auto industry "visionary" but I do think they get a little too much criticism.
