How do YOU know?

Lincoln had a rather slim resume when he was elected.

Jefferson was known for his brilliant mind, but while he was Vice President to Adams he actually paid a guy to write nasty stuff about Adams in the newspapers. NONE of our Forefathers were the "saints" that they are portrayed as today.

The thing they DID share was Intelligence and Insight. I don't know if Obama has both those things in sufficient quantities to straighten out all the messes we've gotten into, but I don't know that he DOESN'T either.

Unlike Bush, Obama seems willing to reach out to an eclectic group of minds, regardless of ideology. That, in itself, puts him more into the Lincoln, Jefferson group than what we've seen in a while.

Maybe Rep Jefferson of the frozen bribe variety. Obama's far-left political philosophy is reminiscent of young Fidel Castro with tinges of egomaniac Hugo Chavez.
