fad of middle and upper class single women having and adopting children?

I have never read about it and doubt if the numbers are very large. I would think the women involved want a child but haven't found a man they want for a Husband. So they go ahead and have or get the kid.

DMA...Look around you. The young women you are talking about were born in the late 70's to the 90's....Who were their role models? What did we see on the movie screens during their teen years? What do they see on TV, radio and all the little hand held gadgets? People Magazines, Hollywood bimbo mags, etc.....

Many of these little darlings know they could have their way, or they would sue, if their parents didn't first?

Is it any wonder that what we see happening had an earlier beginning?

How do you explain the fad of middle and upper class single women having and adopting children?
