<<We were repeatedly told by these television courtiers, people like Tom Brokaw and Wolf Blitzer, that this talk show host was one of our nation’s greatest journalists, as if sitting in a studio, putting on makeup and chatting with Dick Cheney or George W. Bush have much to do with journalism.>>
************************************************************
That i have seen a good many people of a goodhearted nature that slurb up all this dribble is making me realize how many of those people are becoming more and more hollow headed it seems with each passing day.
That Russert should be talked of at the great level say of an Edward R. Murrow is grotesquely obscene reduction of the word "Great" .
Hack mediocrity courtier shallow journalism is NOW in America considered Greatness.

i have, because i know the basic good heartedness of many that fall for this BS carnival journalism, there is an ever increasing number of INNOCENT FOOLS in this country.
i have had to add Bruce Springsteen to this ever lengthening list of Innocent Fools as he waxed sappy and weepy over Tim Russert.(Russert was fanatic Springsteen fan), and fed the mass orchestrated "Weep for the Great One" by distributing a video to honor Russert.

i consider both Stockman Scott and coug as good hearted, but they are card carrying members of the ever growing number of Innocent Fools, and as such but enable the rule of the Damned Fools.

My wife and i actually don't talk of matters political with any except those proven tough-minded free thinkers that all have the ability to see this farce, a farce that Hedges(a quite devout Leftwing Christian, btw)so rightly aligns with the Court of Versailles pre-revolution France.(My wife , am so happy to say, is on my level--i say this not in conceit but in GRATEFULNESS that i am a FreeMan, within)
We have come to realize deep ignorance is now pandemic thoughout the U.S.
Chris politely uses the "we" here though it has no application to him, that clearly sees the dreadful situation, writes <<We cannot differentiate between illusion and reality.>>.
This so true, and has spread wildly throughout the U.S. population.
Unfortunately looking at history past, all these people, the good bad and ugly, the innocent fools and damned fools and the good minded tough minded free thinkers, all will be caught in The Hard Rain to come.
i ask what % of the population of those not bad but already "body-snatched" can read Hedges and have an Epiphany,an awakening to reality.

i would say, at most 10%.

i have actually wished that a website could be formed where we can find each other, but , in seriousness, i say, to do so would open us up to being monitored by the U.S. Government and put in their SUBVERSIVE files.
Hell they could set up such a website as a trap.

Yes, this is indeed a Dark Age.Max
