I would expect laws forbidding export of crude oil like that for Prudhoe Bay. Refined products, I don't know, we import a lot, much more than any diesel being exported now. Maybe there will be laws on that too, though it runs the risk of retaliation which would mean us not getting imports of refined products from some places. Then again, over time refineries will change their mix of products as the market evolves, one would think.

Is there any truth to a rumor that there are 300+ ships sitting in the ocean with Saudi heavy crude just sitting there, because there are no refineries to refine the heavy crude?
