DENVER — Faced with a surge in the number of proposed solar power plants, the federal government has placed a moratorium on new solar projects on public land until it studies their environmental impact, which is expected to take about two years.

Two years. Our government. That model of efficiency JF keeps telling us about.

If it were private enterprise you think it would take two years?

Its the Bush administration.....in 8 years they have never done an environ. impact statement so they are learning as they go. If it was anyone else, the report would be done in a few months.

REMEMBER New Orleans!
