Seriously, Brumar, do you not see that there are limits to unbridled consumerism? As the global population grows and resources are depleted, do you not think there may be a problem down the road? Am I really that far ahead of you in thinking?

Malthus said it a couple hundred years ago. Hasn't happened yet. Looks like human population is going to stabilize long before the earth reaches its human carrying capacity whatever that may be.


It does? As far as I can tell, global population growth has not stabilized at all:

That's an increase of 80 million in one year; a billion in 13 years.
