That article is nonsense. Their presented chart contradicts their conclusion.

The south pole continues to set new records of ice coverage.

Man made global warming hysteria is nothing but a nonsense driven "the end justifies the means" agenda.

...we're going to have to make some plans on how to adapt

OK.....Adapt = key word.

What did the world do to >> adapt << when Newsweek had on their 1975 cover "Global COOLING?"

It took over 35 years and now some of those same scientists want us to . >> adapt <<. for possible "Global WARMING"....

I don't notice our "efforts" from 1975 brought us any relief from Mother Earth, or Father Sun, or Master Universe. All of them are probably in a conference someplace, laughing at all the stupidity going on here on earth.

Maybe we shouldn't irritate Mother Earth any further and just don't do anything. OR we should tell China and India and every other emerging country in the world, they must have their emissions at least as low as those of the US.

As far as energy is concerned....

We have known since the 1970's and before, that we needed and would need in the future, more energy sources.

Exactly what have we done in the last 40 = FORTY years to make sure that that need was satisfied? Do we want to continue trusting politicians to do our bidding?

How have we adapted to the energy need?

"The implications for us and the rest of the world are pretty obvious."

3,9,27, _. Fill in the blank.

A pretty standard con goes data point, data point, data point, implied data point. The mark fills in the blank and the con walks with the money. This works particularly well on relatively smart, educated people. One of my ex's (the dead one) was good at this for a while. Always amazed me. The global warming stuff has that smell. And I'd be willing to bet dollars to donuts my carbon footprint is way smaller than most. And I've conserved all my life. Still smells like a con.
