Hi RJA. I only trade Canadian mining stocks. CSI is on the Toronto. And I mostly trade wts on stocks for the leverage and "safety" (a concept I often have difficulty explaining). I have been trading these stocks for 30 years.

I post on only two threads which I consider has the best traders and moderators. We all know each other, so boiler people and pumpers or dumpers, are quickly run off; and we can trust each other's judgement:

Subject 54430

Subject 27370

Wts are worth learning about, but there are many strategies and I/market trade different stocks at different times e.g.

in 06 I made most of my money on wts on major base metals stocks e.g. SLW wts, HBM wts, BWR wts, U wts, etc. I was up over 400% for my entire portfolio. Many of my friends did about as well. Exited base metals stocks in early 07.

07 I made most of my money on three exploration stocks NOT, FNC and VMS. Up 400% again.

08 I got lucky early. Bought PDL wts at .50 on 12/12 and the wts went to $5 in 2 months. Most of us on the wt thread had these. We try to buy the first day as most people cannot handicapp their value and many just sell to get rid of them as they are extra incentive and part of PP's (private placements).

Next post I will explain a few strategies and ideas.
