Sir JW ... Very Very Nice to see your post my good friend. I'm in total agreement with the trajectory of the GOLD price, When it arrives at the Targets is hard to say. I see 1200 or a little higher in the near future. I don't have the GOLD Ticker so this is as close as I can get for LT Charts. img300.imageshack.us The XAU looks a lot better than the HUI .. it's a component mix that includes "EGO". img300.imageshack.us Some have been harping about some kind of Head and Shoulder Formation in the HUI and it looks fairly close to the same as the XAU. I've been calling it a FAUX H&S because the Volume didn't fit the criteria. But now that I step back and Look again I think I may be able to see what they were talking about. I wonder if they had their charts UpSide Down or something .. Anyway .. I know most are expecting another Spike in the VIX to confirm the Fear of the Market in a Fall but that only holds true if the Big Players have Big Positions that they "Wish to Hold and Protect". So .. my thought ... that I pose to You and Everyone Else .. For Discussion and Debate IS ... >>>>=====> This Time It's Different ... This Time The Big Financial Players are Fighting just For Survival and Liquidity ... The Big Players have already succumb to the Need for Capital and Surrendered Most of What they Wish to Protect in the Form of LT Stock Market Buy and Hold. They Have Gone to the Fed Widow and Relinquished unto Cesar at a Decent enuff Discount to entice even the Normal Buyers of Discounted Paper to participate in the Conversion ... if the Paper is Good. [That is the Real Question .. The Paper must not be very good.] So Now What ?? Volatility Tracks the Fear in the Market .. True .. but it only Tracks the Fear of those who wish to protect Big Positions Placed. It only tracks the Rush to the Put Window for Protection or the Rate of Change of Put Buying ..... What if it IS ... Different this Time .. ?? And The Big Boys .. Who Normally Buy Insurance to Protect Big Positions .. Have already Liquidated them .. and they no longer need the Insurance .. to protect Big Positions ?? What if they have already Liquidated most of those Positions to the Krill of the Market .. and the Krill are left Holding the already Discounted Stock Paper or Stock Certs ?? The Krill won't Buy the Protection like the Big Boys .. and Hence ... .. there will Not be another Major Spike in the VIX .. like everyone is waiting for .. Only the Steady Drain .. in Price .. accompanied by the Lack of Buyers .. And Volume. Discussion .. Debate .. Thoughts ?? Everyone is Welcome to Join in. Ray Message 24692376
