Why does the US have the highest crime rate of the western nations? Much higher than the worst of the lot. Is it in our DNA? The innate nature of our culture?

Most likely culture and a legal system that lets them back on the streets too easily to kill again.

Ted, you need to get YOURSELF a gun. Gun manufacturers are a great investment now that individual gun ownership is unambigously LEGAL.
