Well I believe it all started with Saturday Night Live. Ya know the "Killer Bees" sketches they used to do back in the early days. Well some wacko scientist happened to be a fan. And serendipitously, soon after he caught onto a research position down in South America creating a hybrid bee. The agressive African bees breed with ordinary honey bees. The killer bee was born. You know the rest. They escaped and multiplied and made their way northward. Lucky us.
