"Unless we have been POW's ourselves, shouldn't we withhold speculative judgment?" Not when the POW in question is running for President. Besides, the right wing legitimized all these tactics themselves in 2004. They showed that respect for commendations awarded by the military and military service are ALL to be questioned. Any claim of "heroism" is fair game. McCain should release his military records. If he doesn't, it's because he's HIDING something. Speculate away. End of story.
