I hope you enjoy the long piece on Rush in your Sunday New York Times magazine section, John. I know you wouldn't want to miss it.

John, this is going to be a long hard summer for Americans. What the McCain campaign needs to keep in mind is that for them to even have a chance at the Presidency they need to ensure that the Americans anger at rising food and energy prices does not reach critical levels. They also need to ensure that they do not call for sending more troops to fight the terrorist insurgency in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The two oilmen in the WH have tethered this country in a situation that is very risky to the prospects of the Republican party in te upcoming election.

To move people from the WH to work on McCain's staff is not kosher. It is a reverse flow. Where is McCain and his oft repeated statement "I would rather lose an election than lose a war."
