Excellent! At last, the alternative energy industry is winning a few battles against the oil industry. I am completely flabbergasted by the amount opposition to getting this country oil independent, so that we can improve our national and economic security. It's almost like the Arabs are in charge of this country and have lined the wallets of 50% of Americans to ensure that we never get off of our oil addiction. When I come across someone who is for continuing our dependence on oil, my primary thought is how unpatriotic they are.

I agree, this is good news.

Whatever your view on large federal subsidies for such alternate energy development (and we obviously have different views on that), it doesn't make a lot of sense to put barriers and penalties in place against such development. That much, I think just about everyone can agree on.
