Jim:

I hope (never a good position in investing) they have found a sizable discovery. Management is burning through cash as this is the second offering in maybe 3-4 months.

I'll jump on more if they have a good announcement. I can still see it breaking 45 cents on a bad report.

Nordic doesn't have Bakken Oil. We are looking at Manville and Winnipegosis formations. They are being careful to analyse this well carefully. This is an area that hasn't received much exploration to date. Even the hole they drilled in 2005 might just come back into play. These formations haven't received a lot of attention to date. Be patient.

Look closely at the press release. The company talked of 7 production zones in 2 formations.

First they stimulate the well with an acid treatment. They have to match the acid treatment with the type of rock which they encounter, hence the extra testing. It is my understanding that they have yet to frac the zones. Fracing if it works as it should should also increases the flow of oil. These teams come in from Red Deer Alberta. This is not next door but a long day's drive. Once again on the next well they will know exactly what to do. On this hole they have a learning curve. Any other team would also have a learning curve.

Oil is on the property, but the area is also highly prospective for gas. The lease is a gas lease and if commercial quantities are proven it means that they retain a greater proportion of the leases. The Company is trying to maximize the retained property. That is just one more reason why they are being careful not to miss any opportunity.

Don Benson is very thrilled with this play. He can only publicly release facts not guesses or wishes and hopes. Until further work is conducted i.e. until the fracing is done and until some production is pumped to surface over at least a 24 hour period he cannot release projections. I think he could have released the thickness of the zones however.

One has to ask however; what would the competition do if those results were known

Remember Oil Springs produced over 9,000,000 barrels on an area of only 2 sections. Those wells began producing 150 years ago and are still in production.

Stay tuned I think the company is still a very good play.
