Canadians mostly fly directly to Mexico.
but Europeans complain of the time it takes to get through customs and immigration and requiring in many cases an overnight stay (good for forced tourism I suppose)..

My complaint as a Canadian in Flying through the Dallas Fort Worth airport to Vancouver is that to change fights one has to go thru security once again (no transfer rooms and no special lane for security for transfer travelers) and it now requires a minimum three hour connection..(taking off the sandals is on the surface a joke!)

What exactly do your european and canadian cohorts NOT like about flying through Miami?

Probably the same things that I dislike about flying anywhere in the US.

Coping with a trumped up anti-terror charade put in place largely to provide political cover to the chimp in the White House.

Hopefully that monumental, incompetent, apparatus will be subject to review by an administration that does not owe it's political life to trying to keep its populace in a state of constant fear.
