Jefferson believed in "Life, LIBERTY and the pursuit of Happiness." Liberal Dems are all about restricting liberty -- Don't drill, use less gas, turn down thermostats, protect puddles called wetlands, let human babies freeze due to lack of offshore drilling causing unaffordable oil to warm their houses; but protect caribou calves' migration paths lest they might have to walk around an oil rig.

If only all of these liberals you have named could speak for themselves----Jefferson would be appalled to be identified with the leftist-liberalism of the current Democrat Party.

The leftist-liberalism of the Democrat Party is not Liberal philosophy------it is what it is progressive socialism.
