MM, hopefully the father will receive a life sentence for killing his daughter--immigrants must expect to assimilate into the American culture, rather than trying to replace it with the culture they came here to escape.

MM, news report: The Muslim family is from Pakistan--the father owns a pizza parlor in Atlanta but doesn't speak English...the judge requested a translator so the daughter-killer's rights are not infringed.(heaven forbid)...what about his daughter's right to a life? She was married in Pakistan prior to their emigration...her husband lives in Chicago while she's in Atlanta; she had informed her father that she wanted a divorce when he slowly strangled her to death. He then walked downstairs and said to his son "your sister is dead." ahh, the joys of cultural diversity.
