I will tell them both that. Liberals use the afganistan argument now but as things get worse there, when do they start calling for pullout there? Afganistan aint pretty and we are fighting an indigenous rebel force, the taliban. The source of the funding of this force and terrorism worldwide is south wahiristan. Maybe its time we confronted the fact that we need to blow it off the map if necessary in order to save middle eastern and south asian nations and prevent resurgent terrorists from attacking us again. Yes the cons and neos dont seem to grasp this as they get dumber by the minute, but neither do the liberals who will just substitute run and cut for cut and run when the going gets tough or when someone has the balls to say what really might need to be done.
