Remarkable account and photos. Glad your Dad (and you) made it.

My father never talked about the War (only with shipmates at reunions) even as recently as 10 years ago. But congestive heart failure is slowing him down lately and he's done several fascinating (to me) videotaped interviews for military historians in the past 2 years.
